  • Atherton, California
Atherton, California - 1 - A deconstruction company in San Francisco, California called WOODFIRST to assist one of their clients who did not want this tree cut up into firewood. She contracted us to to slab mill this 200 year old Oak tree. This tree was filled with cement by the previous owners of the property, which they thought would strengthen the crotch of the limb that had broken off, but it actually killed the tree because of the alkaline content of the cement. The tree then became a liability and had to be removed to allow for the construction of her new home.
